Faculty and Director of USTA Professional Tennis Management
As Director of Professional Tennis Management at the University of Florida, Kim is dedicated to helping tennis professionals reach their full potential as leaders in the tennis industry. She is passionate about equipping good tennis players and good tennis pros to become great ambassadors of tennis, to grow the sport as a vehicle of health and wellbeing and not just about trophies and titles.
Kim holds a Masters of Education and Counseling Psychology in Positive Coaching from the University of Missouri, and has achieved certifications from the Human Performance Institute as a Mental Toughness Specialist; a Mental Game Coach from Peak Performance Sports; and as an Expert in Leadership from Notre Dame University.
As a player Kim had on-court success as a Division I All-America and 2-time SEC champion at the University of Florida. For the last 30 years, she has coached players of all ages and levels, including a year as the woman’s assistant at the University of Kansas.
When she isn’t running the online program for UF, she continues to coach athletes on how to be mentally tough under pressure and she consults with coaches on how create athlete-centered programs. She resides in Phoenix, Arizona, with her husband Jack. They have six married children and 11 grandchildren.
